What did I do before the Birth Hour?
I wonder how many people have been so impacted by this amazing podcast, that they have changed career paths?
I started listening to this podcast as I was beginning to think about Baby No3... I wish I'd found it sooner!!
I went on to feel sooo well informed about all the types of birth that there are, I passed on helpful tips to my husband, read amazing books and generally prepared myself for birth.
I also realised I LOVE BIRTH! I added hypnobirthing and prenatal yoga to my training, as well as trauma training for mothers who have had a traumatic birth.
Thank you Brynn for this amazing resource. It's the best birth podcast there is. I now recommend it to allllll my clients and as soon as I know someone has a pregnancy where they have e.g previa, or have done IVF... I go to the Birth Hour library and start re-listening. It's probably one of the best resources I have for my work.
I really can't recommend it enough.
Life changing
The birth hour has honestly changed my life! I found it when pregnant with my 2nd and have listened ever since. Now in my third trimester with my third baby and my confidence and knowledge going into childbirth is so much greater than my previous two births. I am planning a homebirth (a first for me) but no matter what kind of birth I have, or what anyone is planning for, listening to the birth hour will prepare you and leave you feeling empowered.
Not for me
I gave it three shots but found the stories quite negative and listening at almost 40 weeks hasn’t empowered me about my impending birth but has made me feel somewhat anxious. I also found the show really ‘American’.
