Its company owns the trademark for "HBCU ATHLETE" and has design patents for our workout grips. Gainz Sportsgear is available online and at GOLD'S and Merritt Clubs within the Maryland area. HBCU Athlete is a athleisure and fitness brand geared towards bringing awareness to HBCU Sports and Athletic programs. HBCU Athlete has licensing agreements with Bowie State University, Hampton University, Howard University, and Coppin State University.
