The Cider Shed - Ploughing through BBC's 'The Archers'

I first discovered the Cider Shed on Twitter and after some time of following the tweets and loving them I thought I should actually listen to the podcast! So glad I did as Keri and Matthew (and Peter when I first started listening) provide a wonderful view on the week in Ambridge. The work they put into the podcast is fabulous, as are the Half Man Half Biscuit references and that’s before we get to Mike Tucker’s goth years.

Matthew and Kerri do a great job distilling all things about The Archers that drive us listeners mad. From a pantomime in a week to Pat chat. Keep up the good work.

I’ve been a Cider Shed listener for a while and it’s now become a staple in my weekly listening. Funny and imaginative, it’s just really good fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Matthew & Kerry are brilliant hosts and it’s lovely to listen to something that breathes life into the world in Ambridge rather than constantly criticises it (like some of the Archers Podcasts I’ve listened too do!) I’m in the same employment as Shula’s boy Dan meaning I’m often away from home, it’s lovely to have a listen to something that anchors me back home. Thank you! Badger x
