The Craig Shapiro Tennis Podcast

The CSTP has that knack - like the best podcasts do - of somehow enriching your enjoyment of something you love already. The host’s laid-back style belies his ability to drill deep into the detail and draw interesting insights out of his guests (a revolving door of people from all corners of the sport).

This is such a great podcast; really good format and the host’s top class tennis knowledge means that he manages to draw quite a lot of insight from even normally-reticent interviewees. Great mix of guests and a well produced and enjoyable listen for all keen tennis players and fans.

Craig’s podcast is an excellent incite into the elite game of tennis. Having Been around the tour for year and having strung for Pete Sampras, Craig has a great relationship with most of the players he interviews. The episodes are interesting and well structured and Craig’s passion for tennis is really on show. The only issue I have is that there need to be more of them and more regular. But otherwise the Marion bartoli episode recently was a real highlight. It really gave us a look at her life day in day out. Also Craig has an amazing back catalogue of interviews if you search for ‘Under review tennis’ where all the big names have been covered. Keep them coming
