Episode 46: Dawn Zoldi of P3 Tech Consulting
In this episode, Dawn tells us more about the 2021 Women to Watch UAS Global Awards - of which she is an ambassador - which aims to recognise the amazing work being done by women in aviation and aerospace.
She goes into detail about the award categories, the nomination process and the impact the awards have had since the first ceremony five years ago. Dawn herself won the Leadership Award in 2019.
Dawn also gives her insight in how companies can increase diversity and equality in the eVTOL industry, and talks about her new company P3 Tech Consulting, which was set up after her award win.
Episode 45: Tim Williams and Dean Moore of Vertical Aerospace
This week, we were delighted to welcome back Vertical Aerospace.
Dean is the company’s Lead Flight Test Engineer and leading the flight test campaign for its first certifiable eVTOL aircraft, the VA-X4, while Tim is Chief Engineer and responsible for leading its development.
The pair update us about ongoing developments at the UK firm and also provide excellent insight into a host of topics, including the main factors that need to be considered when designed an eVTOL and the challenges that have to be addressed along the certification route.
They also tell us what the company’s projected roadmap is looking like for the rest of the year, and hint at whether any of their future eVTOL aircraft could be autonomously piloted one day.
