The future of medical device regulation and standards

The Standards Show

Connected and intelligent medical devices are becoming an increasingly important part of our healthcare systems.

In this episode, Matthew speaks to Andrew Mkwashi from UCL - one of the co-authors of a new White Paper on the future of medical device regulation and standards.

The White Paper is the result of a research partnership between BSI, UCL and PETRAS - the UK National Centre of Excellence for the Internet of Things.

He also speaks to Rob Turpin of BSI about how the findings of the White Paper will be used to make a difference to the development of medical device standards.

And Emma Glass joins him to discuss BSI's ambition to develop and expand research partnerships between BSI, researchers and universities in healthcare technologies.
