The GAK.co.uk Guitar Shop Podcast

I wrote this year's ago. But for some reason it didn't post. BRING BACK THE PODCAST!!!! Brilliant podcasts! Can't wait for next weekly edition. I warm to all the lads. Down to earth and know their kit. Love the podcast, keep it up. I am a gak online customer, but now I know the gak team are a decent bunch of lads, I am more than happy to return.

Amazingly knowledgable group of people, makes me envious of working in the GAK shop with them and all the gear at their fingertips! Previously not into equipment much, this has turned me on in a big way.

Really like this podcast. Great presenters...a lot of podcasts about guitars are really unprofessional and have a lot of umms and ahhs and loads of bits which in all honesty should be edited out or redone. These guys are really professional. They're all great broadcasters and seem to really know how to put out radio; they could be professional presenters especially the presenter Mark...he really knows how to pull things back onto topic and get the best descriptions and information out of the other hosts. They're all very knowledgable and they do a great job of appealing to all levels of experience; you could listen to and enjoy this podcast if you're a massive gear head or just a beginner wondering what to buy first. For me, it's too focussed on budget gear and bass stuff...not that there's necessarily loads of bass stuff but there's a fair bit and I'd rather they ignored bass and just did a monthly bass episode (which those not interested could just skip) but that's just me. I'd like it if there were the odd sound samples but if that's not possible I'd like it if they went into more detail on exactly how things sound (not just whether they're good or bad); a lot of things just get described as 'soooo good' and that's it...sometimes it would be nice to hear exactly WHY they sound so good...
