Slow burn

Some podcasts grab you instantly and you want to listen to all of them. Others creep up on you, and The Happiness Lab is one of them.

I initially thought this would be more like this self-help business books which take one shaky observation and turn it into a three-part list of acronyms. But Tim Harford recommended it so I gave it a go. And how wrong I was. This is an accessible, scientifically rigorous exposition of some fascinating work on psychology. It helps that Laurie Santos is a great host and the production values are very high. Get it in your feed and give it a go.

Very useful podcast

Can’t thank Laurie Santos enough as her course The Science of Wellbeing changed my thinking. Both the course and this podcast are super helpful. I also found two other very good podcasts by listening to her as Laurie often has very good guests 😊
