Our guest Lee Piper, Senior Works Superintendent for Costain talks about how he and his colleague Deon Louw from Cementation Skanska made an idea come to fruition with the help of Suction Excavators provided by Hercules Site Services. Maria Coulter BEM is an Award Winning Construction Coach and Podcaster, leading a revolution in the industry, she also sits as a NED on the Construction Industry Council.  Maria is one of the construction industry's visionaries, Maria began her career in construction on site as a Quantity Surveyor. She saw an opportunity to improve the industry and develop higher standards. In particular Maria is a huge advocate of the Fairness, Inclusion and Respect programme, which continues to be embraced by the industry driving cultural change on sites making them better places to work for all. This week Chris & Brogan are joined by the wonderful Simon Woods. Simon is an In-Custody Employer Engagement Co-Ordinator working across six prisons in the West Midlands. He works for Prospects which is part of The Shaw Trust.  Simon encourages employers to see past the label and engage with people due for release from prison.
