During her 10-years as CEO of G-Whiz, the company became one of the top youth and entertainment agencies. Then when she made the change to working in the world of Corporate Trade at Active International, she brought her Midas touch there as well. The client team experienced double digit growth while the agency team grew to account for 40% of the company’s overall revenue.
She found over time that leading with who you are and where your strengths are, can bring people together to succeed in a common goal.
Over the years, Barb has taken the leap on taking responsibilities that are new to her and learned that she could be anything she wanted to be. She believes that things happen for a reason and that we can change our destiny when we focus and surround ourselves with great mentors.

Barb has had a long run as an executive in the media and advertising industry, spending the most significant time at Grey where her entrepreneurial spirit resulted in the creation of Grey Global Group's Youth and Entertainment boutique agency called GWhiz.
Barb was the company's CEO and she built the agency to be client-centric in approach. Under Barb's collaborative leadership style and infectious energy, GWhiz became one of the top Youth and Entertainment agencies during its 10-year long run. Brands included U.S. Cellular, Konami Video Games, Dairy Queen, Topps Confections, Progressive Car Insurance, Food Network, Bravo Network, and W Hotels.
Barb's career took a slight turn in 2009 as she left the agency world to become a change agent within the world of Corporate Trade. For 10 years, Barb worked with Active International as their CRO, overseeing 96% of the company's overall revenue. She was credited with the creation of the Client Development department and Agency Alliance Group. The Client team experienced double-digit growth while the Agency team grew to account for 40% of the company’s overall revenue.
Barb has four children and recently married Lauren, a charter school director. She loves NYC theater and museums, and you can find her at the Jersey shore in the summer or on a family ski trip in the winter.
