    The Lord Is My Shepherd

    The Lord Is My Shepherd

This podcast message will share Psalm 23:1 -6 KJV, The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

    The Rich Man And Lazarus

    The Rich Man And Lazarus

I will share the Biblical scriptural story of the Rich Man and Lazarus NIV. There is also a debate among scholars if this a parable or an actual event that occurred. I am leaning more toward an actual event because of Abraham being mentioned and we know Abraham is an actual historical figure. I will also share the Bible verses as well.

    Luke 16:19-31 (NIV)

Verse 19: “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.

Verse 20: At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores

Verse 21: And longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

Verse 22: “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.

Verse 23: In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.

Verse 24: So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

Verse 25: “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony.

Verse 26: And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

Verse 27: “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family,

Verse 28: For I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

Verse 29: “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

Verse 30: “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

Verse 31: “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Jairus Daughter And The Woman With A Blood Disease Episode Three

Jairus Daughter And The Woman With A Blood Disease Episode Three

I will be sharing with you episode three of Mark 5:37-43 New Living Translation, the historical and biblical events of Jesus raising Jairus daughter from the dead and the woman he healed that had a blood disease

Verse 37-Then Jesus stopped the crowd and wouldn’t let anyone go with him except Peter, James, and John (the brother of James). Verse

Verse 38 When they came to the home of the synagogue leader, Jesus saw much commotion and weeping and wailing.

Verse 39 He went inside and asked, “Why all this commotion and weeping? The child isn’t dead; she’s only asleep.”

Verse 40 The crowd laughed at him. But he made them all leave, and he took the girl’s father and mother and his three disciples into the room where the girl was lying.

Verse 41 Holding her hand, he said to her, “Talitha koum,” which means “Little girl, get up!”

Verse 42 And the girl, who was twelve years old, immediately stood up and walked around! They were overwhelmed and totally amazed.

Verse 43 Jesus gave them strict orders not to tell anyone what had happened, and then he told them to give her something to eat.
