Wise words from the SoC boys

This latest episode really resonated as I’ve had to pull back on my skills training to fix elbow and wrist pain recently. When you are training progressively it’s a tough one mentally when you can’t keep pushing through to make the progress you want and it can take the joy out of things. However, as Tim described, I’ve gone back to more fundamental movements and gradually building volume again, without the pressure of trying to hit a specific skill, and I’m enjoying my training much more, whilst also getting stronger and rehabbing my injuries. I’m 50 now with two young kids so my goals are more about longevity…. That said, handstands and muscle-ups are still cool so no plans to give them up just yet 😁 Great podcast guys, keep up the good work and I might see you at a workshop sometime👍🏻

First review

I listen to a number of podcasts and have never felt compelled to rate nor review until your physical pension series came out. Being 50+ and an ex sportsman still fighting the middle age many things I could relate to. Great work guys keep them coming.
