The Official Game of Thrones Podcast: House of the Dragon

Huge GoT fan and now HOTD. I’ve been location hunting for both. Found your podcast only recently though. Absolutely loving it! What a great team. It’s currently 8am in the UK on a Sunday morning after a very hot night. Just made a coffee and cooling off in the garden. I’m on the episode with Paddy and Matt. You said “why don’t they give them cushions?” And somehow in my sleepy fuzzy brain I came up with “because Little Finger stole them all for his brothel” I will giggle about that to myself all day, thank you for coming 🤘🏼

Not bad. The two ladies hosting do a good job. At the moment Im enjoying this more than the actual show which hasn’t grabbed me. Will stick with it.

I started listening to HBO’s Gilded Age podcast and thought it was great to hear a thoughtful discussion of each episode interweaving the real history and writing decisions and character motivations and costume design etc. So then I decided to look up the official podcast for discussion of HOTD episodes, and wow am I shocked by the stark contrast in quality and thoughtfulness. I can’t for the life of me understand why HBO decided to allow a gaggle of ignorant midwits prattle on and on about one of their crown jewel IPs. The only decent parts are when actual members of the production are on, and that represents far too small a proportion of the air time.

Awesome companion podcast would totally recommend to fans.
