TRC MEETS - I Started Running Because I Hated My Body...Now I Love It
The Running Channel Meets is where we talk to real runners with incredible stories. Each episode we speak with people who inspire us to run, and give our guests an opportunity to tell their stories, often for the first time.
In this episode we chat with Emily Clarkson. Like many people, Emily started running driven by hate for her own body. She wanted to change it and felt running was the way to do that. But since the early days of running Emily has massively changed the way she views running, as well as her own body. We chat about how Emily views running now, and how her goals have shifted since having a baby.

The kipchoge equivalent of running of podcasts
Simply the best running podcast available great hosts and not too much science - I come for the frequent laughs 👏
Read the room
Really struggled with the LDN marathon piece they did with Sarah sobbing into the camera because “she’s her own biggest troll” and she found it hard… when there were people with literal terminal cancer running it with a smile on their face, raising thousands for charity. A bit tone deaf, sometimes perspective is important guys!! Do enjoy hearing Andy’s racing stories though
Love it 😀
Recently got into running and now after doing the Manchester 10k in May I have signed up for a half marathon in September so I am loving listening to your podcast on my commute. So many tips and advice and I am learning all this new technical talk. Thanks 😊
