Episode 157: Season 12, Episode 6 - The Snatch Game!

Take a trip in our time machine to the start of April 2020 - and the most recent gathering of your three head librarians at The Shade Table! Everyone's got ill-timed illnesses, Katie's got Death Wishes for people, Sharron's in...Hawaii? and Kyle is sorry we've got weird audio for this episode. We're asking for your sheltered-in-place forgiveness as remote recording was a new TSOIA frontier, but this episode still has plenty to keep you entertainted: gay polygamist cults, how much fun we're having playing our NO!, quaran-cleaning, “what’s that bitch”, secondhand embarrassment, dick thumbs on Skype and screaming about berries. And we also talk about the Season 12 Snatch Game! Apologies again for the audio - we've got a better handle on internet calls 8 months into all this :')

Started great, falls off in current season

I’ve listened since season 6 always thought it was a funny, objective review of the episodes which I enjoyed. Recently and increasingly evident within the current season of all stars 3, they’ve started to become a hive mind and extremely focused on race. Fair enough, it’s black history month so it’s good to recognise black excellence. But they tend to push their views of certain queens of a certain race, making excuses at their failures and sharing questionable opinions that are a bit transparent in their cause. I think a more unbiased view of the various queens is required for a successful review. Or at least a group of people who all have different opinions and can offer it with confidence. I fear this is almost reflection of the current state of America subconsciously in the masses and unfortunately it’s reaching a community once known for its openness to everyone.

OPULENCE, THEY OWN EVERYTHING

THE BEST podcast for Rupauls Drag Race. Katie, Kyle, Sharron and co hosts have enough charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to be an official podcast of world of wonder. Funny, attentive to detail and usually what gets me through a week. Thank you for being so amazing. Love from Hollie in the North East of England xo EXTRAVAGANZA ELEGANZA

Terrible audio issues

The show was fine, very off topic but still fun. However in the last 6ish months they seem to have changed mics, the quality is awful. Very tinny, and almost inaudible at time, their voices dropping out all the time. It makes the show very hard to listen to. So much that I can't listen to it while out and about as I kiss half of what they are saying. :(
