Good fan discussion

Update: Felt an apology was due as my review below was unnecessarily harsh and I didn't intend to personally attack Jamie, which I can see it does come across that way. (I also didn't think Jamie would even be aware of the review, and it was intended more as feedback to other potential listeners.) I mistakenly thought that this was officially affiliated with Thronecast and was expecting the 'wisdoms' or whatever they call it, (and yes I am blaming Sue Perkins and Sky here!) I also maybe underestimated my own knowledge on this, so don't often hear a lot of things that I didn't know or wasn't aware of (other spoiler/discussion podcasts I listen to fill me in a lot on star wars/marvel background stuff as I'm pretty clueless!) I have still been listening every week as both presenters raise interesting discussion points and it's still enjoyable listening to them break down the episodes as two friends catching up (apart from maybe when they call . (I thought I'd let Jamie have his dues telling me to f off before updating my review, which is fair enough!) Anyway, sorry Jamie (and Chris), please don't be offended by a grumpy 'broom-handle' like me! Original review: I (wrongly) assumed that Jamie East at least was a massive GoT/HoTD nerd and knew it all inside out but listening to this podcast has me realising that he barely knows as much as a casual viewer like myself. It might be Sue Perkins’s fault for bigging him up on Thronecast but I’ve realised now (especially after he basically stated as much this week), that he’s just reading from a teleprompter and isn’t a Westerosi Maester. It’s still a decent listen to have the episodes dissected but I’ve cringed several times at the basic incorrect mispronunciations or factual errors they come out with which I wasn’t expecting.

This is actually the only thrones podcast I listen to I tried the official one and it wasn’t for me, I think this podcast appeals to new fans and seasoned fans alike and a lot of the discussion just echos the ones I have with family and friends, come on Sky give them a commission!! (Sorry I sound like Alan Partridge at the BBC) great show looking forward to S3 & S4 !!
