But the response to the attacks on two Mosques in Christchurch did the opposite - it unified communities, and sparked a national and international outpouring of love. Among those who arrived in Christchurch, to grieve, comfort, pray and help heal, was one of the most senior Muslim scholars in the world. Professor Ali Al-Qaradaghi, the Secretary General of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, whose global membership numbers roughly 90,000, gave an interview to John Campbell, which is the basis for this special episode of The Story.
