An amazing journey of macabre delights.
I’m thrilled to have discovered this wonderfully enjoyable series. Exceptionally well written, expertly produced and wonderfully entertaining. Alyson expertly guides the listener through tales and myths from history, drawing them in with the perfect mix of warmth and skilled oratory. Light some candles, dim the lights, pour yourself you’re favourite warming beverage and enjoy the journey.
Great apart from the narration
This is a brilliant podcast; a great premise and clearly well researched .... but unfortunately the weird stilted narration of the newspaper is off-putting and unnatural sounding, like bad AI.
This podcast is fantastic!
She does a really deep and entertaining and fascinating dive into all the stories, and they are told with thoughtfulness, intelligence and wit. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Once you listen to one episode you will be hooked and you will need to binge-listen to the entire thing.
