It’s not 1984 anymore but The Thought Police are everywhere. For better or worse Mike Graham and Matt Kelly will be your consciences. But don’t worry. They’re not reporting back to the Oceania thought crime specialists, they are free thinking journalists on a mission. Graham presents a daily show on talkRADIO and Kelly edits The New European. They are opposites. They attract. Though not always each other. Their debates will not be limited to Brexit because football, ethics and journalistic tales of the unexpected will figure too.

For a while, Kevin O'Sullivan is stepping in for Matt as the Thought Police continues to rumble on amid the pandemic pandemonium.

It’s The Thought Police. We’re watching you.

    Just a bunch of tossers

    Just a bunch of tossers

Time for some more common sense among the mass hysteria as Mike Graham and Kevin O'Sullivan take to the Thought Police once again. Today they discuss: the BBC's woke new series and ludicrously gratuitous overspending, Gary Lineker's hypocrisy, tiered lockdowns across the country and why they are a waste of time, why waiting is sometimes better than doing, propaganda being promulgated in the press, the faults of the Track and Trace system, myths surrounding hospital bed capacity, the idiot who committed a lewd act on webcam, crunch time in the race for the White House and the importance of the floating voters, Jacinda Ardern's running of New Zealand, and those who work - or perhaps woke - from home. It's the boys who will get you out of bed in the morning - it's the Thought Police.

You can follow the boys on Twitter. Mike is: @IROMG, Kevin is @TVKev and you'll find the podcast too: @ThoughtPoliceTP.

    The insane or the infirm?

    The insane or the infirm?

Mike Graham and Kevin O'Sullivan are back to shout into their megaphones as the Thought Police rolls into town once again. Today they discuss: Dominic West's alleged philandering, Donald Trump's bizarre performance last week, Lily James, the difficulty of being an actor who frolics on set one minute and returns home to the other half the next, David Attenborough's lack of depth, celebs losing the plot about the Presidential recovery, who wins the US election, the UK's latest baffling response to COVID, shielding, lockdown apathy, the partisan nature of polls, why the elderly aren't worried about getting infected, BoJo's Prime Ministerial credentials, why deadlines matter, Chris Whitty's moronic use of maps, and why Sweden was proved right. Mamma Mia...here we go again!

    The road to recovery

    The road to recovery

Mike Graham and Kevin O'Sullivan are back to point fingers and poke fun at politicians as they bring you another Thought Police podcast.

Today they assess: Donald Trump's media savvy as he recovers from COVID-19, the sheer scale of American election campaigns, how voters in the States are feeling, why what we see on TV isn't the real USA, Boris Johnson's latest speech and Prime Ministerial performance, why nothing seems to be normal, Scotland's draconian lockdown measures, whether exams really give you the right to a more worthy opinion, a crazy weekend of football scores and whether Saudi Arabian wind is really a target we should be aiming for. No hot air here, it's the Thought Police.

Where did all the fun go?

Where did all the fun go?

Mike Graham and Kevin O'Sullivan are back for more after another gloomy week of news. Today they discuss: the golden age of journalism, how Kev started in Fleet Street, why things used to be better, bars closing at 10pm (except in parliament), Boris Johnson mixing up his own rules, the NHS coronavirus app, COVID marshals, why students have gone from breaking rules to following them, Matt Hancock's rule of sex, intentional scaremongering, the new John Bercow, what BoJo was doing in Exeter (and why he stopped there) and the first presidential debate. They'll never place ridiculous restrictions on you - they are the Thought Police.

    Get a grip Doris!

    Get a grip Doris!

The Thought Police - Mike Graham and Kevin O'Sullivan - are primed and in position ready to unleash both barrels once again. Today they respond to Prime Minister Boris Johnson's latest coronavirus containment measures and take a look at the wider handling of the crisis from the government and their appointed 'experts'. They also discuss wokeness and how parliament is joining in with the movement, footballers deciding not to take the knee, Britain's Got Talent losing viewers, and how businesses are going to go bust under the new regulations as fans are told they still can't attend live sport or entertainment. Never fear - the Thought Police are here to take out your frustration!

    Taking the pee

Poppetteer ,

I LOVE this podcast !

Kev cracks me up ! Love the interaction between Mike and Kev. Both very intelligent sparring partners, speaking a lot of common sense, while still being entertaining, interesting, informative and VERY FUNNY ! Kev’s rants are a treat ! I have no idea how he keeps himself in check without swearing when on air - he lets loose on this and must really have to bite his tongue when on air ! I love this podcast and listen to it almost as soon as it’s released each week, it’s that good. Please never stop making these, and please, neither presenter go anywhere. The unique interaction both of you have with each other can’t be replicated. Only way to improve would be to make 2 a week !!

Oh - and where are the podcasts for Kev’s weekend shows ? Mike’s shows are available as podcasts, but not Kev’s - can this please be rectified. Keep up the good work !!

The best

All time fave podcast. Love the banter between these guys, they’re hilarious. But more importantly they’re saying what so many of us think but are unable to say in these crazy times. Look forward to each Wednesday now for my “fix”. Keep up the great work boys
