Brilliant rock reviews and insights by two knowledgeable and funny friends - and I am an Asia fan!

.. first of all, both the Wolf and Action are clearly wide-eyed & genuine fans of ROCK, in all its forms. They tackle all their topics with a winning mix of devotion and enthusiasm, plus the 10,000 hours of plain, old-fashioned LOVE of music. Not forgetting their occasional use of the old ‘squint-eye’ - great for lightening the mood, and reminding the listener that Wolf and Action are far enough down the road that they can enjoy & embrace their teenage rookie years. Although I’m a Brit, I still really appreciate the High School reminiscing, like risking every accrued teenage dollar on GnR Use Your Illusion II from the local record store. Here’s an example of how much fun these guys are: I’ve just finished listening to their two-part podcast on a Kiss documentary, fully enjoying every rabbit hole they went down, and even dug themselves. I loved every Simmons/Stanley vs Frehley/Criss controversy, plus the latter two’s various replacements, and got totally absorbed in their ride on the Kiss Crazy Train. I’m gonna watch the documentary, fully prepared & raring to go. And all this despite the fact that I’ve never heard EVEN ONE KISS SONG. That’s how infectious and addictive this channel is; and I feel a little bit smarter after every listen. They are also VERY generous towards other podcasts, including the glorious Rockonteurs. I love Rockonteurs just as much as they do, but believe me: Ugly American Werewolf is every bit as good.
