Mr
I have just started listening and I love it! Professors Silkenat and Cogliano are intelligent and entertaining and very informative. Their perspectives are refreshing and they make a great pair. I'm an Edinburgh student and I intend to take their Making of the USA course this year so I'm glad that they are great teachers. Also, Johnnie Walker Black for a whisky suggestion!
Great podcast on US history and contemporary politics
Really recommend these podcasts - not just to those with an interest in US history but to anyone who wants some context for current US politics. It's obvious too that Frank and David are enjoying giving up an hour or two of their week to pull these together.
This is great
Highly recommended. This feels like (and is!) an intimate conversation between friends at the pub. Love the way contemporary events are given historical context. The last drop section has provided much further reading/viewing/watching. I have told my students to listen to this.
