I ADOREEEEE these guys
It’s rare that I binge listen so deeply as I have with this podcast. I absolutely adore J and Rachael they have this amazing stoic, philosophical way of podcasting. Their questions go deep, they make me feel like I’m not alone. Their voices are such easy listening I am going to be devastated when I’ve listened to everything and I have to wait weekly to hear new episodes. If you’re an indie author looking for a podcast that cuts deep, is emotional, heart felt this is the podcast for you. It feels like home to me. These guys had better not stop podcasting! I’ll hunt you down until you continue 🤣🤣
Enjoyable, informative
Great podcast on writing. Nice tone, positive and friendly. They are casual and chatty but they don’t ramble on. Worth your ear time!
Fantastic show and great info!
I cannot say enough about how much I enjoy this podcast! I don't have a lot of spare time for listening to podcasts so I mainly listen when I'm out walking. This was my new find and I loved it so much I listened to the entire back catalogue of episodes over the course of a few weeks of walking.
J. Thorn and Rachael Herron both have lovely voices (not to be mean or judgemental but I am often put off listening to American podcasts because of the rising inflections and vocal fry - a personal bete noir!) and so listening to them is a real pleasure for that alone. Not only do I feel like I have met two people I would happily be friends with but I have also found a podcast that covers all the issues I face in writerly life. I never thought I would learn so much from one podcast but I really have!
I highly recommend this podcast for anyone whether they are a writer or not.
