Ep. 97 How To Scale A Typical ‘Small Business’ To Be Worth Millions With Candace Nelson

Candace Nelson is a living breathing example of how to turn your passion into profit. After quitting her career in investment banking, she had plans to go to business school, but changed them last minute to instead do what she called a Pastry MBA, and to hone her baking craft. She started Sprinkles Cupcakes from her small flat in 2005, nearly 20 years later, Candace has sold over 200m cupcakes from her bakeries and cupcake ATMs across the country. The story of how she achieved this growth is wild, and includes cameos from Tom Cruise and Oprah From featuring on the US version of Dragon’s Den, Shark Tank, to being a judge on Netflix’s cupcake wars, Candace has created a baking empire,  and I can’t wait for you to hear all about it.

Radhi Devlukia is a nutritionist & plant-based cook whose ethos is all about bringing together the latest research in nutrition, with the ancient practices she’s so passionate about, and the results are fascinating. She’s just released her debut cookbook, Joyfull, which was an instant New York Times bestseller, it was such a great read. So, if you’re feeling like you’re struggling with connection, and you’re teetering on burnout, take a moment to watch this conversation, I know you won’t regret it.

Ep.95 How To Make The World Obsessed With Your Products With Cult Gaia Founder Jasmin Larian Hekmat

Ep.95 How To Make The World Obsessed With Your Products With Cult Gaia Founder Jasmin Larian Hekmat

Jasmin Larian Hekmat is a true creative. She’s the founder of Cult Gaia, a brand synonymous with iconic and beautiful designs, from the Ark Bag, to the Pearl Bag, and now ready to wear, Jasmin’s designs have captured the zeitgeist for over ten years now, and the company just keeps expanding. But it all started with some flower crowns & a bratz doll, and if that isn’t enough of a cliffhanger to keep you listening, I don’t know what is! Jasmin was so open about how she manages to keep innovating, how she grew the brand in the early years, and why product comes above everything, and I’m so grateful to her for coming onto the podcast.

Ep. 94 Why Our 20s Are So Confusing And What To Do About It With Jemma Sbeg

Ep. 94 Why Our 20s Are So Confusing And What To Do About It With Jemma Sbeg

Jemma Sbeg is someone everyone in their twenties needs. Her podcast The Psychology of Your 20s, was one of the 20 most listened to podcasts in the WORLD last year, and she started it as a hobby whilst working her 80+ hour a week corporate job. I’ll be totally clear with you, my aim going into this episode was to get as much advice from Jemma as physically possible, to make it a guide to owning and understanding what is arguably the most confusing decade of our lives. We covered everything from finding your dream job, to comparison, to moving to a new city and so much more.

Ep. 93 How To Start Investing, Clear Your Debt & Take Control Of Your Finances With Simran Kaur

Ep. 93 How To Start Investing, Clear Your Debt & Take Control Of Your Finances With Simran Kaur

Simran Kaur is a VC, angel investor, financial columnist and the founder of Girls That Invest, the world’s largest investing podcast for women. She’s received so many accolades in her time, from Young New Zealander of the Year, to Forbes30u30, but she’s started out in healthcare as an optometrist who read a few research papers on investing. Her journey is fascinating, and she was so so full of actionable advice. My favourite quote of hers is, ‘it takes someone intelligent to explain something simply’. She is a quintessential example of exactly that.

Love this podcast

Interesting guests and a variety of topics of discussion.

Couldn’t go past 1 full episode

The premises for -like- this podcast to be good are -like- there: interesting topics, niche guests.
But -like- the delivery leaves much to -like- be desired, unfortunately.
The host talks -like- too much (for my personal taste, as I’m mostly tuning in to see what insights -like- the guests are going to share) and keeps using -like- filler words that become frustrating after a while.
Couple that with -like- my habit to listen to podcasts at 1.5x and you can see why I couldn’t make it past one full episode.
I’ll resort to -like- reading the transcripts instead.

Miss.N.Pre5tge ,

Let your guest speak!

I wanted to listen to the recent Timm Chiusano episode. I lasted 15mins because he hardly had a chance to speak.
The podcast has amazing guests with lots of knowledge and great stories to tell! So please look at the reviews and take note of what people are saying!
