This is a collection of conversations based on all the things I wish I'd known before I had a mental breakdown and a spiritual awakening.
Things I wish I'd Known (TIWIK) is a love letter to my younger self. A conversation about all the things we were told not to talk about. A sharing of knowledge, emotions and laughs. A potential handbook (or the audio equivalent) on how to master your mental health and fall back in love with yourself!
Nothing is off limits. We talk about everything from dating, suicide and mental health through to make up, skin care, magic and spirituality. It's all the things I wish I'd known when I was younger so hopefully me and my guests will save you some heartache, provide some laughs, and inspire you to try something new helping you to grow from the inside out.

Janey Lee Grace - TIWIK about staying sober. S3. Ep 14.
To end this season of Things I Wish I'd Known (I know I am sad too!) I'm speaking with Janey Lee Grace. She has done so many things in her life, it's almost difficult to create an intro for her.
During this episode, we discuss the fear of losing control and the pressure on Mum’s when it comes to alcohol. We chat about the need and excitement we both feel for the new alcohol-free alternatives that stop you from drinking diet coke all night and how we will leave a party if it’s sh*t because without alcohol you tend to notice much earlier :-) Janey shares her journey from numbing out uncomfortable emotions with booze, and the shock she felt when she realised the links between anxiety and alcohol, to ditching the booze for more contentment and calm. This is a must-listen for anyone who is sober or sober curious.
Janey's a regular presenter on Radio 2, an author of several books, including her latest one, Look great naturally without the ditching the lipstick. She hosts her own podcast, The alcohol-free life, which I've been lucky enough to guest on (listen here). Runs the Sober Club membership and is a presenter and speaker who is passionate about ditching the booze and living a healthier lifestyle. During this episode we talk about heart centred energy, learning the way of gong and sound healing and how it creates community. Cherub is definitley someone who loves to bring people together and all rise up collectively. Alexandra Roxo - TIWIK Sensuality S3 Ep. 9
*Listener discretion is advised is sexual topics are not your bag. *
In this episode, I chat with Alexandra Roxo an American author, spiritual teacher and artist who helps Women navigate the modern feminine experience.
She has been featured on TV shows such as Slutever on Viceland, Sex/ Life on Epix, youtube shows and international publications and now she joins us for an episode of TIWIK about sensuality. Nothing is off-limits with discussions traversing whether God agrees with threesomes and spanking, a**l sex, how Women waste time, money and energy trying to fit in and never feeling good enough and how we should all be asking “how was your orgasm last night?”
We discuss the wild chasm and intersection of cultures which Alexandra grew up in. Splitting her time between her Father's side - Brazilian sensual, open, expressed and her Mothers Georgian, Christian South USA puritan background and how this fed her artistic creation. We consider the term ‘spiritual’ and talk about whether the term is overused and needs a new deeper terminology created.
In her new book, F*ck like a goddess Alexandra says “As women, we need to liberate our voices, step into total security within ourselves, and fully own our raw, sensual power, finally letting go of the shame, guilt, denial, and repression that’s been put upon us.” and I couldn’t agree more. Listen to this to feel empowered about your sensuality.
