Two Watch Who - A Doctor Who Podcast
Mark has been a Doctor Who fan for about 26 years. Sarah has never seen any Classic Doctor Who. Together they are watching from the very beginning from two very different perspectives. If you’re new to Who or a long time fan join us watching through the series story by story.

I’m updating some of my reviews and wanted to say how much I love this podcast. As Who podcasts go, this is peerless and is the most interesting. I’ve listened to a dozen other Who podcasts and only a couple get remotely close to the high standards set by this. It only seems like a few months ago that I pressed Play on the very first episode, and now here we are going through the 90s spinoffs and other assorted features. For me, the strongest part of the podcast are the two hosts. Sarah and Mark play off each other to perfection. Like a classic Robert Holmes double act. When the series began I really wasn’t convinced Sarah would make it past the recons and animations, yet here we are, and she still seems to be remarkably sane :) Its a good idea keeping it just the two of you with the occasional guest popping in. So many other podcasts seem to drag on people from the same old pool and in some cases its starting to have the whiff of cronyism about it. Not the case here. Mark and Sarah know their concept and have stuck with it. So, highly recommended. I envy anyone coming to this for the first time. I would love to hear all the episodes for the first time again. Absolutely essential listening
One of my go-to Who shows

One of those podcasts I go straight to whenever a new episode appears in my feed. A straightforward format that’s always a fun and breezy listen thanks to the entertaining dynamic between Mark and Sarah - and l always prefer a Doctor Who show where Doctor Who doesn’t seem to be the hosts’ entire frame of reference. Sarah’s very-first-time observations on episodes often entertainingly upend the received wisdom that Mark has lodged in his fan-brain. No shade to Mark - the ghost of Peter Haining haunts all of us who remember pre-2005 - and anyway, he manages the minor miracle of conveying his enthusiasm for the show to a normal person in a really likeable way. And while Sarah’s occasionally audible eye-rolls are brilliant, she’s absolutely not offhand or dismissive. Just a really fun, easy listen.

I took the slow path reaching this little gem of a podcast but I got here in the end and I’m so glad I did! One fan, one new viewer- both having fun in time and space and inviting us along for the ride! Every episode is so much fun with in-depth looks of every story with our favourite Timelord, friends and foes 💙💙 I’m a die hard fan and I’ve learnt a few things thanks to this out of this world podcast! Happy travels!
A fun listen

I’m sure there are loads of doctor who podcasts out there but having recently started watching the Tom baker episodes after decades away from who it’s been fun listening to someone else approaching them fresh and I’ve ended up going back to hartnell both with them and in my own watching. Great rapport between Sarah and mark and them being based in Cardiff is an extra bonus
