The great Pastor and Theologian AW Tozer, once said ‘Within every human breast rages this desire, driving him forward. Many a person confuses the object of that desire and spends his or her entire life striving for the unobtainable.

Very simply put, the great passion in the heart of every human being, who are created in the image of God, is to experience the awesome majesty of God’s presence.’ Does that hit a chord with you?

As we start a new Talk Series entitled ‘Presence and Power’ we look at what it means to experience the presence of God and the invitation to draw near that God issues to each one of us.

What are you reaching for? A new car, a promotion or maybe success in another area. Whilst these are not bad in themselves, the question is, is that all? As we end the Reach Talk Series, Mark looks at 1 Corinthians 3 and the call to build in this life, in the light of eternity.
