A traumatic experience whilst in childbirth left Grace with postnatal depression and PTSD. Some years later, she made a journey to Wales to rediscover her childhood love of horses, where a chance meeting with one particular horse resulted in Grace coming to terms with her trauma.

Grace has now written, best-selling novel, The Yard: How A Horse Healed My Heart, which is the culmination of a life full of ponies and horses and I will use the profits from sales to go towards a farm-based therapy centre for the terminally ill.

Grace uses a range of therapies to treat cancer patients, and it is her life’s dream to be able to provide a haven with farm animals to help seriously ill people return to nature.
