I feel this is totally anti the foster parents so disagree with the previous reviewer. They talk about the foster mother being calm on the 911 call, but you can clearly hear her voice shaking and she’s trying to remain calm and in control. People react differently to stress - fight or flight. The judgement and reporting about the foster mother is appalling, it’s like a witch trial, totally and utterly sexist. The story is confusing and feels like it’s told in a back to front manner which disadvantages the families involved. What a sad story. My thoughts are with both families.
More factual journalism please

I was looking forward to this podcast, especially the covering of the Colonial inquest and went into it fairly broad minded but we have yet another podcast firmly in the foster mothers corner and lots of personal opinion from Dan. This is not investigative journalism. On paper the Fosters just look so good, wealthy, attractive, educated and successful but that doesn’t a parent make. Where is your factual investigation of all the parties involved, the police messed up but so did all the other agencies and the media Williams story needs to be told by someone of the calibre of Hedley Thomas, an unbiased rounded inquiry instead of this ode to the Fosters.
Too one sided

The journalists are on the side of the Foster parent, it’s not a fair assessment. Don’t get it
Nothing is uncovered
15 Sept
This is an 8 piece feature which uncovers nothing more than is already known. A long running conman swindles a bunch of small town mum and dad investors out of lots of money then dies. The intrigue of AI, political interference, Trump, faking ones on death and tech are merely used as bait to gather listeners. It is well produced but does little to unpack what happened
