Wool-Shift-Dust: a Silo TV podcast

I’ve been listening from the start and half the reason I was looking forward to Silo season 2 was just to listen to Elysia and Luke again and their interesting discussions. The mix of book and non-book reader reminded me of the podcast Cast of Kings by David Chen and Joanna Robinson. Same level of quality and in depth discussion.

I am listening to pretty much every episode of all the podcasts on Silo season 2 these days. Wool-Shift-Dust is the best in my view. It’s consistently insightful, entertaining and funny, and strikes the right balance between attachment to the preexisting Silo texts and appreciation of the tv adaptation as a standalone experience. Great work!

I came across one of the co-hosts Elysia on The Lorehounds series of podcasts and she is an engaging presenter. This pod is ideal for those of us who are new to the world of The Silo. Along with her co-host Luke, Elysia dives deep into each episode of the Apple TV series Silo with looks at plot, acting and production design. With a great use of passages from the book, without spoilers, the team add a useful addendum to each episode. A definite recommendation for all those wanting a bit more sustenance after the already groaning banquet that each episode of the Silo gives us. Get subscribing! *S2 Update* great to be back in the world of Silo. In the interim I read the trilogy the show is based on. So my watching will be different to last time, so very grateful to have hosts Luke & Elysia to pick apart the continuing journey through Silo.

I wish I had been listening to the while I was watching the series because I love the real-time reactions to each episode. As someone who has read (and LOVES) the books they do a great job of not giving anything away and discovering the phenomenal job that has been done of adapting it for screen. Love the combo of someone who has read the book and someone who hasn’t.
