This podcast really feels like someone singing you to sleep, no loud obnoxious theme tunes, forced laughter that blows out the mic just gentle long conversations about films

This podcast has been so kind to me this year, as I’ve worked through some things. I started off cherry picking the episodes about films I’ve seen and enjoyed, but ended up going back through them all from the start. Still have a way to go. The insights and things that come up have been so good for me and I especially love the openness to learning and acknowledgment of when certain topics haven’t been handled well. It’s led me to watching some good films I wouldn’t have done otherwise and also to learning about certain other ones that I know I’ll never watch. 5 stars all day long for me. Thank you so much to everyone involved.

I really enjoy this show but I’m listening for light hearted entertainment and when I am listening to a podcast about the movie 3 Men and a Baby I really don’t need a lecture on biological vs cis vs trans women.

THIS pod is ACTUAL tea- it’s a cup of warm tea and toast at the end of a hard day… ☕️ if you need a pod to help soothe your soul but also itch that curious spot you can’t reach in your pop culture brain this is it- no one delves into the meaning of all the movies you browsed on a classic Saturday night at blockbusters like these folks. It’s just really good (and very minimal gossip occasionally included)
