David Campbell - Nova Scotia Golf Association
The Nova Scotia Golf Association is the governing body for Amateur Golf in Nova Scotia, Canada. We first met in 1930 and for many years has been working for the betterment of Amateur Golf.
Our Mission Statement: "To actively promote and administer the game of golf in Nova Scotia by providing quality leadership and direction to member clubs and association members and to act as the representative for all member clubs in the Royal Canadian Golf Association."
OBJECTIVES
-To promote, foster and develop golf at all levels in Nova Scotia.
-To provide a liaison between member clubs and the RCGA.
-To assist and consult with member clubs on: turf maintenance, handicap procedures, course slope and index rating, rule interpretation/assistance, junior development.
-To organize and conduct tournaments, in co-operation with member clubs, that will determine Provincial Champions
