Aaron: To the person who invented zero
Thanks for nothing
Dye Sublimation
Aaron: Welcome in Matt. We are not fans of the curated Bio, so we always like to start with asking our guests to give us a little background on them. Tell us about your journey to and in the industry.
Aaron: I reconnected with you recently at Printing United. Wow, the innovation there was amazing. You have been around sublimation since at least the early 2000s. How has sublimation evolved since you started?
Terry: What are some of the biggest challenges you’ve seen businesses face when trying to implement sublimation, and how can they overcome these?
Aaron: Over the years, what are some of the newer substrates you’ve seen enter the sublimation space, and how do they enhance product offerings for decorators?
Terry: How do you see the rise of technologies like DTF (Direct to Film) printing influencing the sublimation market and the wider printing industry?
Aaron: I know you have some background in color management too. How critical is it for decorators to properly implement color management systems, and what common challenges do you see in this area?
Terry: What innovations in sublimation technology do you think we’ll see in the next few years, and how will they impact the industry?
Aaron: You and I interacted the most during your time with Unisub. I know you worked with some pretty large e-commerce producers like Zazzle and Fuji Film. For us smaller folks, what were some lessons that you learned from them when it comes to successful marketing and growth in their product offerings?
Terry: What changes have you seen in the sublimation and printing industry since the pandemic, and how should companies adapt to these shifts?
Terry: Matt, how can people connect with you? I know you mentioned to Aaron in Las Vegas that our industry in my words “is like Hotel California” and you’re always open to new opportunities.
