"A New World, Part 1: Reunions" Barry is zapped back to the year 2000 to the very day that it all started; when his mother was killed. In trying to figure out what is happening, he encounters Joe and his parents, who of course don't know him as an adult. Careful not to reveal enough to destroy the timeline, Barry looks for anyone that can help. That's when he runs into Reverse Flash. But it wasn't Thawne that pulled him back.
