Yellow Brit Road: Tara Lily interview!

Yellow Brit Road Podcast

This week, I caught up with South London-based musician Tara Lily, who combines electronic beats, drones from sitars drawing from Bengali music, and a background in traditional jazz to create complex musical soundscapes to express herself. We talked all about her unique cross-continental sound, her inspirations and influences, shooting her music videos in India and Nepal, spiritualism, jazz in London, and being a woman and young person in jazz music today (amongst many other things!)

Her latest single 'No Way Out' can be found on Bandcamp. Keep an eye out for her album soon!

Touch that dial and tune in live! We're on at CFRC 101.9 FM in the Kingston area, or on cfrc.ca, Sundays 8 to 9 PM! (Full shows are available in the archive for 3 months from release)
