Dr. Schaeffer retired from the US Army after serving more than 22 years and relocated to Northeastern Arkansas where he served as United States Postal Service Postmaster.  Apostle, Dr. Schaeffer, heeding the Lord's call, he and his wife launched Interceding Christian Center in West Memphis, AR in 2011 with the mantra "Aspiring to bring God's people to spiritual knowledge and victory". In that mantra “Interceding Christian Center” operates as a place of empowerment, healing, and understanding.  Dr. Schaeffer has a ThD in Theology from the International College of Ministry; has completed course work toward a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, an MBA from Touro University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in  Business Management from Virginia State University.  Dr. Schaeffer is married to the former Ethel (Tina) L.
