With the premiere of WICKED just days away, The Wives Colangelo are going back 85 years to discuss arguably the most-watched film in history, and one that happens to also be a teen girl movie — The Wizard of Oz. A film that has been analyzed for decades, This Ends at Prom is focusing on Dorothy's journey into a technicolor world of escapism, recognizing the parallels between Dorothy Gale and Judy Garland's bleak coming-of-age experiences, and losing it over the Scarecrow's weapon of choice. Surrender Dorothy! We're off to see the wizard!
