    YOU GOTTA WATCH JEONGNYEON. It's been so long since we've been this excited about a TV show. Judy and Linda are so glad that there are actually interesting K-dramas out now!     Digressions:   1:48 - New Patreon donors and Listener E-mails! 24:52 - Linda watched "Soulmate" (소울메이트), because Byeon WooSeok was in it, and liked it! 27:03 - "Alien: Romulus" was very similar to the original "Alien" movie, but it was a great theatre experience. 35:28 - Linda tried "Welcome to Samdal-ri" (웰컴 투 삼달리) and "Mr. Queen" (철인왕후) and was NOT pleased. 38:23 - "Agatha All Along" is one of the few Marvel shows worth watching on Disney+. Kathryn Hahn continues to be excellent! 40:36 - Linda was so bored that she watched all of "Popstar Academy" on Netflix.  43:19 - Jet Lag: The Game is a Youtube channel that will hook any "Amazing Race" fans! Check it out if you love travelling and drama-free reality shows. 45:32 - "Nobody Wants This" is a series on Netflix with people who actually talk through their relationship problems like adults? Gasp!     48:04 - Linda literally fell asleep approximately 10 minutes into "Dear Hyeri Haeri" (나의 해리에게), starring Shin HyeSun and Lee JinWook. It's from some channel called ENA, but who cares, you guys. If you really want to use "Hyeri" in the English title, then just change the name to 혜리 [SCREEEE].   1:03:11 - "A Virtuous Business" (정숙한 세일즈) is a JTBC show set in the 1990s about small town ladies selling adult products and finding their inner power. It stars Kim SoYeon and Kim SunYoung. Judy is intrigued, but it needs to ramp up soon!   1:12:30 - "Family By Choice" (조립식 가족) is also a JTBC drama starring Jung ChaeYeon, Hwang InYoup and Bae HyunSung. We found the child actors adorable, and really liked the idea of people coming together and depending on each other.    1:27:03 - "Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born" (정년이) is a tvN drama based on a webtoon about female theatre groups in the 1950s. It stars Kim TaeRi, Shin YeEun and Ra MiRan.     DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR. DON'T BOTHER WATCHING THIS DRAMA. Judy and Linda are dumbfounded by "Miss Night and Day" (낮과 밤이 다른 그녀), the JTBC drama starring Jung EunJi, Lee JungEun and Choi JinHyuk.      Since we have decided to abandon this nonsensical show, we will instead be starting "Lovely Runner" (선재 업고 튀어), starring Byeon WooSeok and Kim HyeYoon.       Digressions:   1:09 - Listener E-mails! 10:29 - Linda has started "Lovely Runner" (선재 업고 튀어) and is now hooked! 12:34 - Judy watched "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" in the theatres and enjoyed it very much. 15:40 - We've misled you! "Road to Avonlea" is not all free on GazeboTV after all, sadly. There are still some free episodes, so you can still check those out! 16:47 - Judy finally finished watching "Fallout" on Amazon Prime, starring Ella Purnell, Walton Goggins and Aaron Moten. It was a stylish adaptation of a beloved video game series, and you should check it out. Apparently Judy is on an apocalypse kick. 20:21 - Judy and Linda finished watching the third season of "Bridgerton" and it was predictably boring. Who cares anymore about this conflict, you guys. 23:57 - Judy picked up Sophie Kinsella's "The Burnout" on a whim in a physical bookstore!     AS USUAL, I BLAME CONFUCIUS. Judy and Linda wish they got a more down-to-earth storyline with the same characters from "Queen of Tears" (눈물의 여왕), the tvN drama, starring Kim JiWon and Kim SooHyun.   "Miss Night and Day" (낮과 밤이 다른 그녀) is the frontrunner for our next drama to cover. It stars Jung EunJi and Lee JungEun. It looks goofy, but it's the best we got right now. Please let us know what you guys are watching!     Digressions:   1:18 - Listener E-mails! 7:00 - Linda watched "Civil War", starring Kirsten Dunst, and found it thoroughly depressing as the premise becomes ever increasingly plausible.  9:12 - Judy started watching "The Acolyte", starring Lee JungJae, Amandla Stenberg, Manny Jacinto and Carrie-Anne Moss. The editing is a bit odd, but she is loving Lee JungJae's foray into mainstream entertainment. Judy and Linda are back to talk about episodes 9-12 of "Doctor Slump" (닥터 슬럼프), the Netflix drama, starring Park HyungSik and Park ShinHye.       Digressions:   1:17 - New Patreon donors and Listener E-mails! 25:40 - Judy is on a weird true crime kick lately, and she watched "What Jennifer Did" on Netflix. It's a documentary about a terrible crime in the suburbs of Toronto. 29:29 - Linda threw off Judy's calculations by taking the MBTI test again. She has abandoned the INFJ collective! 33:36 - Judy watched "Believer" (독전), starring Cho JinWoong, Ryu JunYeol and Cha SeungWon. It's no "The Usual Suspects", but Cho JinWoong was onscreen 95% of the time, so it was still a great time. 37:10 - Linda has been watching "Queen of Tears" (눈물의 여왕) like everyone else in Korea. It stars Kim JiWon and Kim SooHyun. 39:36 - Judy and Robert have been watching the second season of "Physical: 100", as motivation to get healthier in our advanced age. 42:18 - As a history buff, Linda watched "Masters of the Air" on Apple TV+. She enjoyed it, but it didn't have the level of character development that "Band of Brothers" did. 44:47 - ***SPOILER ALERT*** Judy dragged Robert to watch "Exhuma" (파묘), starring Kim GoEun, Lee DoHyun, Choi MinSik and Yoo HaeJin. We keep calling Kim GoEun by the wrong name.
