Mass Surveillance by Ali and Simon New Age

Hi,
in our podcast Ali and I focused more on the negative aspects of mass surveillance but it can have positive sides as well. We want to discuss them in class and maybe also look at one or two negative aspects. It would also interest us if you would like to have mass surveillance in Germany and when yes to what extent. (We also apologize for exceeding the time limit but we hope you liked it anyway). Concerning our semester topic you could say that mass surveillance can be viewed in a positive way because safety in a society can be reached trough technology. But on the other hand it can be viewed critically (ethically) because trough technology a big part of privacy can be taken away. This would be in the case of an extreme example in wich information about a citizen ist collected in every aspect of life.
