Pipeworks is a Small Chicago brewery whose growth and success has been like a rocketship through the craft beer world. Specializing in small batches, one-offs and experimental beers. Ratebeer named them best new brewery in 2012. This past year we collaborated on a beer called "Brown & Stirred" based on a Manhattan one of our, and apparently their favorite cocktails. They came by the studio to discuss the brewery and the collaboration. 

This episode we talk to Charlie Nelson, of Nelson's Green Brier Distillery in Tennessee, makers of Belle Meade Bourbon. We discuss their origin story, along with the new pot still they just installed. We also get into politics with the current debate over the legal definition of Tennessee Whiskey.
