Imagine living in a world split between traditional obedience and free will. Banaz Mahmod, a 20-year-old beautiful young woman, was brutally raped and murdered by her own family for falling in love and making her own choices. This case involves an honour killing, and conflicting cultural values, and a community that would do anything to protect their own.
