    Jana Štěpánková pracuje v nadnárodní korporátní firmě na pozici s názvem director, employee engagement  and HR compliance. Dlouho obdivuju její způsob vedení lidí. Pro ni jsou samozřejmé a přirozené věci, které pro mnohé leadery samozřejmé vůbec nejsou.  Mluvily jsme o tom, jaký by podle ní měl být ideální vztah HR a majitelů nebo CEO firem, jak se pozná dobrý leader a jaký vliv má na tým, jak se proměnila role manažera v posledních letech, co bere jako vrchol důvěry lidí, co myslí zvláštní proměnou leaderů, které říká “dveřní lobotomie” a proč nemají ve firmě pozici head of culture.

    Petr Horký: "Kdo chce letět, musí skočit".

    Taky někoho obdivně sledujete a říkáte si: “Jak to všechno dokázal?” “Je tak vyjímečný nebo má prostě štěstí?” Petr Horký je režisér, dokumentarista, producent, spisovatel, moderátor, cestovatel a polárník. Procestoval svět, vystoupal na hory, procházel pouště, potápěl se za žraloky v Africe, stal se prvním Čechem, který došel na tři póly světa - severní, jižní a Pól chladu. A všude točil filmy.  Jeho film “Století Miroslava Zikmunda” byl nominovaný na Českého lva, stejnojmenná kniha se stala bestsellerem. Nejnovější film, na kterém spolupracoval s Miroslavem Bártou, “Civilizace aneb dobrá zpráva o konci světa” má obrovský ohlas, u nás i ve světě.  Dokázal toho prostě moc a má hodně obdivovatelů. Já k nim patřím. Potkali jsme se před několika lety, kdy jsem v Čechách organizovala výstavu fotografií indiánského autora Leeho Marmona, a měla jsem s Petrem uvádět vernisáž. S napětím jsem sledovala, jestli se stihne vrátit z výpravy na severní pól a pak na něj s obrovskou trémou čekala v den D před divadlem. Přišel a povídá: “Ahoj Sašo, budeme si tykat, ano? A pojď, něco prostě řekneme.”  Takový je - s obrovským rozhledem, zkušenostmi, přitom přátelský a pohodový.  Chtěla jsem trošku proniknout do toho, co je za jeho úspěchy. Proč říká, že plnit si sny je pitomost? Jak si stanovuje cíle? Kde bere odvahu jít dál, když přijdou překážky? Jak bere kritiku? Co myslí tím, že ztráta naděje a motivace je v jistém smyslu rozsudek smrti? A protože hodně pracuje i s leadery ve firmách, zajímalo mě, jaká témata tam rezonují, jaké firmy podle něj nejlíp projdou tou obrovskou změnou, ke které dochází a jaká je nejužitečnější schopnost leaderů současnosti.

Impozantní. A pak potkáte Martina a on je přátelský, vstřícný, sdílný. Jsem ráda, že přijal pozvání do mého podcastu a zajímalo mě: co přesně myslí tím, když říká: “Když vedete lidi, musíte se chovat normálně.” jak je to u nich ve firmě s tlakem na výkon jak jim funguje benefit neomezené dovolené co dělá pro to, aby si nezačal připadat, že je neomylný jakým způsobem mu lidi ve firmě můžou dát zpětnou vazbu  a proč je pro něj Rallye Dakar lekcemi managementu

The author self-published it in 2014 with zero marketing, no PR, yet more than six hundred thousand copies have been sold and the book was translated to twenty languages so far. “Reinventing Organizations: A Guide to Creating Organizations Inspired by the Next Stage of Human Consciousness” by Frederic Laloux. What if you had a really independent team where everybody knows what needs to be done and takes responsibility for the outcomes? How would you feel in your company if there was no place for politics, power games, no email overload, no endless meetings? What could you achieve if you had a strong vision, all people on the same boat heading the same direction? With so many businesses moving online and teams working from home these ideas resonate more than ever. F. Laloux looks at the organisations from historical and developmental perspective.
