This story is about an experience I had during a prison visit years ago. Just one example of the many times I was pushed to develop emotionally, mentally and energetically in real time without any training or preparation. A lot of us that grew up in addicted homes and families were forced to grow up fast in a lot of ways. You're not alone and there are many of us that can relate. I hope sharing this story helps you feel less alone in your journey and development.

This may be a hard truth to swallow, but the reality is, you have to take care of yourself first. Remaining in your truth and not betraying yourself to people please will always create the highest outcome for all big picture. The challenging part is trusting your truth and not folding to satsify others wants and needs. Putting yourself first is a practice. And in this episode we talk about it's importance. My hope is that in relating and sharing my experience in doing so, it helps you to do so next time the opportunity aligns.

Although it can be painful, the greatest and most caring thing you can do for someone is believe in their power and sovereignty - as well as your own. Breaking the chains of co-dependency is the same as breaking down victimhood consciousness. In this episode I explain the importance of this, as well as how I finally broke free from being governed by the victim.

For so long I thought that I was the simple one, easy to get along and go with the flow. It wasn’t until recently that I realized I’m actually the Spicy One! It had to happen. I had to smash it. If you guys remember from "The Night I Got Sober" episode, I talked about the vision I got of my brother and I smashing our bong called, “The Illy” together.
