Following the murder of Catalina Palomino, 15-year-old Jennifer Jeffley gave nine evolving statements to the police over two days, eventually culminating in her confessing to being involved in the murder. In this episode, we break down the statements she gave before her confession, finding some notable inconsistencies. We also look at the verdict of the appeal court regarding her statements and confessions. We'll look at the confessions in Part 2.
