Get ready to EXPAND your mind! The word NEUROQUEER goes beyond the intersection of neurodiversity and queerness. Neuroqueering is the practice of queering (subverting, defying, disrupting, liberating oneself from) neuronormativity, cisnormativity, and heteronormativity, and more!Through the lens of the neurodiversity paradigm and the social model and in conversations with neurodiversity-affirming professionals, we are going to challenge, rethink, and reframe systems and institutions. We are going to talk about accessibility and ableism, inclusion and belonging, and ways we can lean into curiosity and compassion at work, home, and in our communities. Neuroqueering is also about being in our pleasure, tapping into comedy and creativity, so we hope these conversations are educational, engaging, and entertaining.  This podcast is hosted by Pasha Marlowe (she/they), MFT, marriage and family therapist turned neurodivergent coach,  queer autistic ADHDer, mama bear to 3 neurodivergent humans, and someone who gets instantly bored if they are not learning and unlearning.
