This is a weekly podcast with me, my mic, and my friends. We call our weekly segments a Pod’n Meetin’ and it is released on midweek service day... Wednesday. I also do interviews that are released once a month or whenever I can get them released with some of the wonderful folks I’ve met over the years. I have no huge ambitions with this other than to share a story and hopefully have a laugh along the way. I am a pastor and was raised in a pastor's home. I've had the high honor of meeting some special folks along the way. It's my desire to have some meaningful conversations and give hope to someone who needs it. Hershall is my one listener! Hersh, we had another day here on Pod'N Me. That's the only way I know how to describe it. The boys went on a several big rants whilst I tried to keep hold of the wheel. we had several close calls.... They started off by talking about driving rules that they made themselves. In the feedback section, we had an opportunity to allow our deacon to interpret a humble testimony by Gen Z Boy and it didn't disappoint. We had a "Sentence of the Week" rather than a Word and even had a string of onomatopoeias (big sounding word). In the end Brooks totally attacked a great state in our Union for absolutely no reason at all... I'm truly sorry! Enjoy!

Hershall, today is a wonderful day on the virtual church cast. I allowed Bro. Brooks to start the program and he did a wonderful rendition (big word) of Deacon Dustin leading service in my absence. We moved from there to speak about the importance of keeping our word and it got plum (rural idiom to describe an extreme amount of something) convicted. After that we had some feedback during which the Songleader, Brad Cottrell, suggested that Dustin start a ministry doing Kid's Crusades. He is a very talented sound effect man.... a one man production of sorts. We also heard from Sis. Connie of the Basement Bargains who apparently has been in hiding since the recent eclipse. Following that I (Devin Birdsong) had a HUGE announcement to make which placed me in strong solidarity (big word) with Deacon Dustin on a highly debated topic here on Pod'N Me. Enjoy!

Hershall, as we announced a few weeks back we are doing an interview series as some bonus content. Thanks to our Patreon supporters, we are able to produce more content that is free to the listeners. This will be the first of several shorter episodes that I recorded with Rev. Nathan Wood. He is a pastor friend that has been on Pod'N Me before during our campmeeting episodes last year. We discussed what our relationship with the Bible has been like over the years. Hershall, We finally did it... I know, it's been a while but we had a serious conversation. But that was after we received an unexpected call from you. We heard Deacon Dustin's new motorcycle and talked about Robert-wire tattoos. In the feedback segment we heard found out, through a mispronunciation, that an ole favorite from a Christmas episode, Piph-nee, has a sister named Heth'r. (the previous sentence had entirely too many commas) We had a wonderful rendition (big word) of the ever popular "Rich Man, Poor Man" spring break edition. Dustin also brought some Bible reading and I finished up with a very strong joke segment. I think it will all be of encouragement to you and yourn (a outward way of saying thee and thine).

Hershall, what a catastrophe (big word that looks like it's pronounced 'cǎt-ǔh-strōf') this episode became. I don't even know where to start in explaining but we started talking about dentistry and it quickly was morphed (another big word) in to talking about eye whitening and peeeenched jaws. I shared a childhood teeth correcting trauma (big word) of mine. I then read an email from a valued listener that revealed the possibility of Deacon Dustin having the appearance of a man in a motorcycle gang. He talks about tattoos. I use a joke that had a very prominent pop-culture reference in it. Then we had a suggestion that we try a hybrid of a popular exotic dish.... hence the name Chick-lam-els. we then shared a clip of the Pod'N Z episode from this month. Ending up the episode with a very popular segment of the Name That Tune battle... Hersh, it was so rigged that the Deacon and myself had a serious discussion about leaving this podcast and starting our very own better show without the Songleader and Gen Z boy... It was intense! Deacon Dustin Was Raptured and Theories Conspired

Hersh, first of all, thanks for your assistance in trying to help us locate the Deacon. We ended up calling you first and when you couldn't find him, we called our investigative journalist, Dink Burbank. He worked on the case for a little bit, to no avail (big word for productive end). Come to find out, an event involving a Rapture had a great deal to do with his whereabouts.... you'll see. After we settled that we strapped on a tin foil hat we borrowed from Bro. Brad and went down the trail of a few conspiracies (big word for conspire in the plural sense). Gen Z Boy Brooks and Bro. Brad were labeled as being very narrow minded and I was labeled as being put in the slot of day speaker at a campmmeeting for purposes of only needing a time filler until lunch. We finished the program with a "Whatcha Listenin' To?" segment. Enjoy!
