Darren's best man, the one and only Big SOF came into studio to offer an update on the plans for the stag and share the first draft of his speech. The podcast quickly gets thrown off course with tales from childhood karate matches, "near death" experiences and of all things - soup.
SOF explains why he won't have room in his pockets on the wedding day to look after the rings, and Amy wonders if himself and Darren will organise a surprise rendition of the Backstreet Boys for her at the reception.
Darren refuses to dress up for the stag, despite his best man's love of fancy dress since childhood and the trio reminisce on a week of boredom spent drafting anonymous love letters and putting together romantic parcels for a prank.

Which Tupac song is the most appropriate for a first dance? Or maybe Metallica would work better? Now that Amy and Darren have the band, DJ and ceremony singer all booked it's time to get some music picked out, but it's proving difficult for the couple to settle despite some excellent suggestions like Hit Em Up and Enter Sandman.
And with music comes dancing - Darren's hoping to get some expert help to move him beyond awkward clapping but isn't sure a whole choreographed High School Musical number is the way to go either...
Amy has some big news, but she can't share too many details with Darren as it could be bad luck. And she won't be sharing her suite the night before the wedding with him either for the same reason. Although she is insisting he stay in the hotel and not at home for fear he might start a fire.

Roy Keane, Louis Walsh, and Jedward - The guest list for the wedding is coming along nicely, although Amy's yet to convince Darren to go with paper invitations rather than his suggestion of a massive Whatsapp group. The two consider inviting a tabloid magazine along to take pictures at the wedding, but ultimately decide against it because of a supposed curse.
Darren's midnight snacking and stacking is revealed, traditional wedding cakes are spurned in favour of one big coffee slice, and the mere mention of Amy's favourite restaurant derails the podcast entirely.

Being 98FM's Best Dublin Celebrity doesn't make you immune from slagging Darren quickly learns, but it might give you free reign to drive in a bus lane. Amy wonders if she should book a couple's spray tan for before the wedding seeing as there won't be any holiday this year to give them a glow.
There could be a hiccup in their attempts to get a 'green book' or marriage license too as Darren's birth cert is in tatters.

Can you bring in your own food to a wedding venue? Darren is confused by the complexity of the answer which seems to be no if it's a plate of homemade sandwiches but yes if it's a food truck or a "crip wall".
Amy's disgusted to learn about the existence of turkey and ham parcels and can't understand why Darren would suggest getting married in the Finglas Leisure Centre when he hasn't been swimming for years.

Darren might have a lead on getting Amy's dream wedding band, but she doesn't believe his story of bumping into Picture This while out grabbing a coffee. Instead, she's more focused on getting to the bottom of why he won't hold her hand in public.
After their appearance on the Six O'Clock show, Amy's shocked by just how small the set is and still can't get over the fact that Darren went on TV with a hole in his sock. But his socks aren't the only item of his wardrobe up for discussion as he continues to fight the pajama wearing allegations.
