Personal Responsibility - Your ONLY TICKET To Healing w/ Ben Azadi, Founder of Keto Kamp, FDNP

Personal Responsibility - Your ONLY TICKET To Healing w/ Ben Azadi, Founder of Keto Kamp, FDNP

On this episode of The Health Detective Podcast, we are priveleged to have the one and only Ben Azadi!

Ben was one of the first guests we ever had on this show. On the original episode, he talked to us about his main areas of expertise, intermittent fasting and ketosis. This time around, we took a slightly different approach...

One of the overlapping areas of study that Ben and Detective Ev share a love for is personal development/conscious self-improvement. Since they both believe the concept of healing naturally involves a deep aspect of personal growth, they saw an opportunity to have a conversation around THAT side of healing instead.

We believe almost anyone can get something from this particular episode, even if you're not quite into the whole "health thing yet." Where you're a seasoned Functional Health Expert or just getting your toes wet with this information, take a listen and let us know what you think :).

Our NEW Health Coach Mastery Program w/ Dr. Lori Rose, PhD, FDN-P, AHG, NBC-HWC

Our NEW Health Coach Mastery Program w/ Dr. Lori Rose, PhD, FDN-P, AHG, NBC-HWC

If we had a dollar for every time someone signed up for the main FDN course because a random health coaching course they took prior to finding us didn't fit their needs, let's just say we'd be taking some extra staff vacations!

Because of this, we said "You know what, there HAS to be a better way..." And POOF! Just like that, we created our Health Coach Mastery program.

Health Coach Mastery is FDN's newly released coaching program. As FDN practitioners, we normally consider ourselves to be consultants as opposed to coaches. However, we also recognize the demand and need for the coaching skills side of things. This new program fits those needs perfectly, and it is something that can be taken by anyone interested in this field, regardless of whether or not they've gone through the main FDN program :).

If you're still a bit confused after listening to this, feel free to book a call with one of our Course Enrollment Advisors. Go to fdntraining.com/call.

    About Dr. Lori:

Lori Valentine Rose, PhD, is a board certified nutrition professional (CNP), board certified holistic nutrition consultant (BCHN), certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® Practitioner (FDN-P), board registered herbalist (RH-AHG), board certified wellness coach (NBC-HWC), teacher, wife, and mom.  She is a passionate student of nutrition, herbalism, spirituality, and pretty much anything that makes our minds, bodies, souls, and planet a better place to inhabit. She has taught biology and nutrition at a local community college for around ten years, and has been back-yard organic gardening for around five years, in addition to pursuing clinical herbalism for several years.

FAQ About The FDN Course w/ Detective Ev

FAQ About The FDN Course w/ Detective Ev

This is an episode that doesn't need a whole lot of explanation, as the title says it all!
Ever since Detective Ev became a Course Enrollment Advisor again for Functional Diagnostic Nutrition, he was surprised to find people had a lot of the same questions nowadays that they did a couple of years ago when he was in that position.
Because of this, he made a quick podcast going over some of the most common questions people have about the course. If you'd like something more, you can watch our in-depth course tour where we show you EVERYTHING you need to know about the FDN program by clicking here.

Time to Get SERIOUS About Your Biz And Life (Ev Rant) w/ Detective Ev

Time to Get SERIOUS About Your Biz And Life (Ev Rant) w/ Detective Ev

This might be one of the more important podcasts we ever post.

Nope, this isn't one of our normal interviews with a health practitioner. In fact, there isn't any new health information at ALL in this one. Today, we needed to talk about something even more important - getting SERIOUS about your life and business.

Ever since Detective Ev joined the Course Enrollment team again for FDN, he's been shocked by how many smart, hardworking, knowledgeable people are out there NOT serving large amounts of clients. Although everyone's case and situation is different, he does believe there is one core principle missing in these individuals lives that causes them to either fail in business, or worse yet, never even TRY to have one in the first place.

This episode has just a sprinkle or two of tough-love, but we are positive you'll enjoy it if you hear the whole thing out.

Let us know what you thought about it, and if you have any questions, feel free to DM us @fdntraining on Instagram. Tell them you heard this podcast.

    About Detective Ev:

Evan Transue, AKA Detective Ev, graduated from FDN in 2017. Prior to finding FDN, him and his mom had suffered with a variety of health challenges for over a decade, including but not limited to severe cystic acne, major depressive disorder, panic disorder, GERD, and Grave's Disease. The FDN system transformed him and his mom's lives so profoundly that all of his work is now centered around spreading it's teachings. Evan is now the host of The Health Detective Podcast, owner of Bucks County Light Therapy and Functional Medicine Center, and speaks professionally to middle and high school students about mental health challenges. He has been blessed to speak to over 50,000 students around the country and deliver over 500 professional presentations.

BEST Whole Food Supplement On The Market? w/ Steven Abbey

BEST Whole Food Supplement On The Market? w/ Steven Abbey

Detective Ev here. I have to be honest about something right off the bat with this episode of our podcast...

When I was sent Steven's media sheet by his scheduler, I didn't immediately register it as anything special. It's not that there was anything wrong with the content, but I saw some things about vitamins and nutrients, as well as how our foods aren't up to par for what we should we be eating. This is Functional Medicine 101, right? Don't we all know this already?

In comes Steven Abbey, our guest today.

Steven takes nutrition to a whole new level, and he is DEEPLY involved in the science aspect of it all. I found myself pleasently humbled as I interviewed him, as he continued to rattle off things I had never even heard before again and again. Even more important is Steven's heart. I really do mean it when I say that it became quickly apparent to me that this guy is doing this for all the right reasons. His passion is obvious, and he has already done quite well for himself in other unrelated fields. His mission for truth and quality of ingredients is what drives him!

I hope you guys and gals enjoy this episode and learn a thing or two. I REALLY enjoyed this one!

    About Steven:

Steven Abbey has taken a novel approach to the health and wellness industry with the establishment of SOS Nutrients, a Santa Barbara-based smoothie Steven’s interdisciplinary background, featuring degrees in economics and psychology from the University of Colorado, has allowed him to develop a comprehensive understanding of economy, politics, and healthcare. His diverse career encompasses significant roles such as Co-Owner of Neighborhood Power Inc., a solar development company that achieved $40 million in backorders in 2016, and Owner and Co-Founder of Allied Logistics, a Ventura-based aerospace manufacturing and exporting firm that was awarded Small Business Exporter of the Year in 2003. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Steven has demonstrated a commitment to philanthropy by co-founding the non-profit organization Adopt-A-Pet in 1996. The initiative has since facilitated homes for over 2 million pets and increased its annual operating budget to over $2 million.

His innovative approach to the health and wellness industry, exemplified by SOS Nutrients, showcases the potential for further advancements in the field, driven by sustainable and wholesome product development.
