"Pick-Me Girl"
Whether it be a biological need to populate the earth, or the way we have been raised to view ourselves, women have found competition in one another. The latest iteration of pitting women against women, is the "Pick-Me Girl", a girl or woman who will do anything for attention. But, by labeling other women as pick-me's, aren't we ACTUALLY perpetuating sexist ideas?

Also, there is brief mention of the death of murderer Oj Simpson, and the episode ends with a message to the listeners.

"I Don't Anymore" (A History of Divorce Laws)
You may be asking yourself, "Isn't Madigan preparing to get married? Why is she doing an episode on DIVORCE?"
Well, due to the lack of laws on marriage and divorce throughout history, women had been stripped of their autonomy and choice in how they lived their lives, who they chose to spend their lives with, and even control over their own possessions; making divorce an important feminist issue.

Joanne Hayes & the Kerry Babies
Trigger Warning: This episode contains reference to sexual assault, violence, pregnancy and childbirth, miscarriages and abortion, and murder of children.
Though the United States had added abortion rights to the Constitution in 1973, Ireland would not see similar changes until the late 1990s.
In 1984, two infants were found deceased, and one woman, Joanne Hayes, would blamed for the murders of them both.
In this episode, Madigan speaks on the history of the tie between church and State in Ireland, the patriarchal control it had over Ireland's women, and the desperate measures pregnant people would take in this time.
How can the story of Joanne and the Kerry Babies be used as a cautionary tale for abortion laws in the US today?
