In our second season debut episode, we discuss two different cases involving kids who kill kids. Alyssa Bustamante, aged 15, brutally murdered her 9 year old neighbor, Elizabeth Olten in 2009. The murder was premeditated and barbaric. Was Alyssa’s upbringing to blame? Or was it something dark within her? Our second story takes place in 1998. 14 year old Joshua Phillips murdered Maddie Clifton, aged 8, with a baseball bat and stabbed her with a knife. On the surface this could be a crime of passion.
