Lighthouses are beacons of light that help ships safely come home, and often they are a lifeline to seafarers caught in the chaos of a violent storm.  But sometimes; lighthouses can’t save those at sea.  Many sailors, captains, and passengers have died in coastal accidents, pirate attacks, or due to their inability to see the light of these beacons of hope.  In addition to this, a lighthouse keeper’s job is one of isolation and uncertainty, as well being a massive responsibility.  It is for these reasons that many believe that lighthouses are a hot spot for paranormal activity.
